As a believer, it is imperative that we focus on the truths about our healing, when you’re in the midst of sickness. How you feel, bad medical reports, and the opinions of others may attempt to plant contrary thoughts in your mind. This is why knowing God’s Word and what He says about your situation is so important to ensure those contrary thoughts and natural feelings do not overpower the reality known in your spirit.

There are 3 immutable truths about your healing:

1. God’s will is for you to be healed.

I Peter 2:24  “Who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.”

Matthew 8:2-3  “And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, ‘Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

Luke 4:40  “When the sun was setting, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of sickness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.”

2. God’s Word is medicine.

Proverbs 4:20-24  “My son give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, and health to all their flesh.”

3. We can have what we speak.

Hebrews 4:2. “For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the Word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it.”

It is possible to have what we say, as long as we confess the Word of God concerning our healing. We must exercise our faith. Our faith is comprised of 4 components:

1. Hearing the Word of God

2. Believing the Word in your heart

3. Speaking the Word with your mouth

4. Act like the Word is true

HOW TO CONFESS YOUR HEALING

I am the righteousness of God. Because I have been declared righteous through the shed blood of Jesus my body is the temple of the Holy Spirit and no unclean thing shall dwell in me. Sickness has no part in me. Jesus has already taken my infirmities and bore my sickness and what He bore, I need not bear. By His stripes I am healed.

I resist symptoms of infirmity, pain, and disease. God sent His Word and healed and delivered me from all afflictions. His Word is medicine and healing to all my flesh. The anointing of the Holy Spirit has also been sent to heal every part of my being, emotional and physical. The same Holy Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead quickens my mortal body. I abide under the shadow of the Almighty therefore no evil shall befall me and no plague or calamity shall come near my dwelling. Jehovah Rapha is my covenant Healer and with the stripes of Jesus I was and am healed, healthy, and whole. I am the healed of the Lord and I say so.
